Beryl - a large group of minerals that has many varieties such as:<br />- aquamarine (blue),<br />- emerald (green),<br />- goshenite (colorless)<br />- heliodor (yellow),<br />- morganite (pink)<br />- etc.<br />Color is not an indicator of a particular variety. It happens that green beryl is not always an emerald, sometimes it is just green beryl.<br /><br />They are used primarily for collecting and jewelry.
